Hair Looks Created by Linh Nguyen

The inspiration for the Selkie look is The Last Unicorn, an amazing animated film from the 80s, with a dreamy, 70s-inspired vibe.  “We really wanted to bring that through with the hair look, which is loose, soft, and romantic.” comments stylist Linh Nguyen. 

Get the Look

Begin the style by prepping hair with amika Blockade Heat Defense Serum.

Work in amika Plus Size Perfect Body Mousse and rough dry hair with the amika The Alpha 360 Dryer.

Curl 1″ horizontal subsections of hair with the amika Le Marcel 1″ Curler. Spray curls with amika Fluxus Touchable Hairspray and pin to set.

After the curls cool, brush out each section of hair and back-brush for body. 

Spray amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo at the roots.

Smooth out look with a paddle brush and finish with amika Fluxus Touchable Hairspray. 

Complete the style with the crystal unicorn headband.
