“I really feel that through my style I am redefining what masculinity means to me and how I express it into the world. “
Myles Sexton
What country are you from and where do you live?
Toronto, Canada.
How would you describe your signature style/artistic expression? Has your style evolved over time?
I like to think of my style as a protest. I really feel that through my style I am redefining what masculinity means to me and how I express it into the world. My style honestly changes from day to day so it is connected to my mood and how I feel I want to express myself throughout the day.
Do you have a career turning point or big break that has helped your career?
That’s a great question. The biggest moment that has helped my career has been not standing in the way of myself and really learning to be my own best cheerleader. When you choose your authenticity over your safety it can be terrifying but also liberating.
What was your scariest and proudest moment in your career?
The scariest moment of my career was going to Paris, to model for a fashion show when I was 21 or 22. I went all by myself to a country I did not speak the language and no cell service at the time so it was quite the adventure. Though looking back on it now It was not so scary. My proudest moment would have to have been featured by Vogue Italia over the span of my career a few times. It’s really amazing to be recognized for my style by such an iconic magazine.
What is next for your career goals?
Taking over TIKTOK. Social media is constantly changing so just trying to keep putting my voice, and style out into the world to inspire others to break out of their shells.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in your business?
Don’t post something that does not inspire you on social media. Make sure it always comes from your heart and you will find your tribe of people who resonate with your words and creative expression.
