What country are you from and where do you reside?
I am originally from Hungary and I currently reside in Ontario, Canada.
Education background.
I studied at Marca College for hair styling and apprenticed with the Dior makeup team.
What is the first creative project that you remember?
The first creative project I ever remember was working for Dior cosmetics and helping run one of the largest model searches for Folio models.
What is your signature style/artistic expression of your work?
I would say that my personal expression and artistic style would be the eye makeup looks I create.
What is the most fulfilling job you’ve worked on or a person you have worked with?
The most fulfilling project had the chance to work on was creative training at the Hover Dam in Las Vegas and being able to teach the looks to all the beauty advisors across America.
Do you have a career turning point, big break, or person that has helped your career?
I would say the career breaking point for me was when I was chosen to be the National Makeup Artist at Yves Saint Laurent Canada. This gave me the opportunity to work on numerous TV shows, and share my expertise with the world.
What was the scariest and proudest moment in your career?
The scariest and proudest moment for me was being able to work on the Canadian Shopping Channel where I was a co-host on an exciting show called Hello Gorgeous. Another great moment was being on a panel for IMATS with the legendary Dany Sanz of MakeUpForEver to share my knowledge and judge a makeup competition. I have worked with a few celebs along the way like Monika Schnarre, and Luke Bracey to name a few.
What is next for your career goals?
I would like to be able to take on a new national makeup artist position with L’Oreal Canada since the world has reopened. I want to continue to share my knowledge and expertise with the world.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in your business?
My advice to any aspiring hair and makeup artist is to keep pushing and practice your craft, never give up, and don’t be shy in our new digital world. Continue to work on your social media and or website. Be proud and fearless!
