Co-Founder Beth Carson Transitions to Strategic Advisor Role

The Sam Villa Company announced the appointment of Kevin Cameron as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Cameron will position the brand at the forefront of digital-first innovation, redefining how professional-grade beauty brands evolve, innovate, and thrive in today’s dynamic market. Beth Carson, Co-Founder who served as the company’s CEO for over nine years, will transition to the role of Strategic Advisor, leveraging her tenure, experience, and insight to support the company’s future direction. Carson will also continue to serve on the Board of Directors and the Manufacturers Advisory Council for the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), as well as other industry committee work, including the annual Beauty Changes Lives Gala and other charitable initiatives and partnerships.

Celebrating its 18th anniversary, the Sam Villa Company has distinguished itself as an innovator in the beauty industry through its ergonomic styling tools and influential educational programs, continuously inspiring both professional stylists and beauty enthusiasts around the globe.

Cameron most recently held the role of Senior Vice President at Pivot Point International, where he led integrated marketing, education, and domestic business development. Prior to Pivot Point, Cameron held senior executive roles within the KAO Brands – Salon Division, a leading global beauty company, where he directed global strategies across product innovation, communications, events, and education for brands including Goldwell and KMS. 

Additionally, Cameron recently earned advanced certifications focused on the implications of Generative Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation from renowned institutions, including the University of Chicago, MIT Sloan School of Management, Vanderbilt University, Kennesaw State University and Marketing AI Institute.
