What inspired you to create your brand?
After working in the beauty industry for 25 years I saw a gap in the emerging male grooming sector. My original inspiration for Daimon Barber was to make high-quality, clean, and effective formulas that people would feel proud to use.
What makes your brand different from your competition?
We are independent and own all our formulas. They are bespoke so you won’t find them anywhere else. We can trace all ingredients to the source. Our quality will never be compromised for profit.
What types of products do you have?
We are a male grooming brand with products in shaving, beard, skin, and hair. We offer both styling and care.
What has been the most beneficial way to market your brand?
Word of mouth as we are small and independent. Having our flagship retreat allows products to be demoed by our master barber before hitting the shelves for the best results. Although we are now utilizing social media to communicate with our customers, we will always use word of mouth.
Do you have a business mentor or did you do this on your own?
Richard Olis, our chairman, inspired me to take on the brand and has been by my side ever since. He always champions the best possible results for Daimon Barber.
What are your biggest challenges?
As an independent brand, our biggest challenge is to ensure we share our message effectively with all new and existing stakeholders across all 25 countries we currently service. Every aspect of the business has our key values and behaviours embedded to ensure Daimon Barber stands out.
What is next for your brand?
Our NEW Advanced+ range will include a shampoo, conditioner and growth galvanizer treatment leading the way in hair growth recovery. The range includes Redensyl, a breakthrough ingredient targeted for hair loss. Redensyl is the first hair care cosmetic active that gives definite results in just 84 days. We will be the exclusive partner for Enhance Hair Restoration, the range will be offered to their clients post-surgery.
What advice would you give to someone starting a brand?
Be passionate, do your research, be surrounded by the right people, and believe in what you are creating. Positive energy is essential across all aspects of the business.
